Our carers will take you out so that you can collect your pension, do a bit of shopping or just visit the cafe by the beach. Their time is yours and they will make sure you enjoy the change of scene.
We can clean your house including changing your bed, vacuuming and dusting, cleaning the bathroom and washing the kitchen floor, or whatever you need to have done. We can load the washing machine and hang your clothes out to dry.
If your garden needs a bit of a tidy, or some weeding and the lawn mowed, we can provide the help you need.
Our carers will help you get out of bed in the morning, help you to the toilet, get your clothes ready, help you dress, and then get you settled comfortably in your favourite chair while they prepare your breakfast. Your bed will be made and any dirty dishes washed and put away. Your carer will make sure that everything you need is to hand, including the phone, TV remote control, your magazine and a drink. The carer can also get a snack or hot drink ready for later, storing the food hygienically, and the hot drink in a flask to keep it warm and to keep you safe. If you have a lunch call, the carer will prepare and serve whatever you would like for lunch from your fridge and help you to the toilet. Teatime calls will make sure you have a sandwich and a cup of tea or a hot meal if you want it, then a bed time call will help you to bed and ensure the house is locked up and made secure before leaving. Our carers will help you to ensure that you take your medication correctly. In most cases, this is by prompting you to take your tablets at the correct time, but our carers are also trained to adminster treatments such as creams and oral medication. Records of all medication are maintained by the carer at your home and can be inspected by your doctor or health visitor at any time. Carers will check when you need a new prescription and arrange for this to be collected
